In 2014, ISHIMWE GAKUBA Noella and NIGIHOZO Yvette Michelle shared a common interest in entrepreneurship and flowers; they came up with an idea of floral shop and co-founded a Business called Ifeza Florist that sells flowers at different events in the country. Regardless of their life status, two students started a business without a start up amount and manage to use their pocket money. A passion led them to learn how to make floral arrangements and business management. In May 2014, they joined entrepreneurship competition planned by Generation Rwanda. Ten teams with different business ideas participated to that competition. After one week of training about business development; Educat, a company that offers entrepreneurship training, brought in social media competition. Ifeza florists won the first competition that open a door for two girls to participate in Rwanda start up competition where Ifeza florists won the second place. Their passion didn’t stop in there. After all those competition they took action in the market. They started with individual’s occasion and home decorations and day by day they are growing up. Now, Ifeza florists have served local customers and international customers through social media. This gives a shape of how the market will internally grow up within time.
